Week #48 Ride #200 of 100+ in the books

 

Week #48 - 468 miles

This week I got in my 200th ride of 100+ miles during the ride streak. It only took 1062 days to get it in. Pretty happy to get it done before the end of the year. Now the rest of my long rides will be "bonus days"! On Friday, I was in Lawrence and we got in a 120 mile ride that went north through some really cool roads. It was an easy ride but with some cool folks and we had a great time. We found some awesome MMRs and got in about 7,000 ft. of climbing. I should roll over 24K for the year next week and hopefully get that 25,000 mile mark by the end of the year!

Week #47 It got cold!

 

Week #47 - 492 miles

This week turned cold and windy. Luckily I wasn't planning on getting in a ton of miles this week, so some shorter days were in order. I did go through Wilderness Parks for a loop during Friday's ride to stay out of the wind for a bit. It was nice to get over 23,000 miles for the year and I only have 1 more 100+ mile ride to get over 200 during my ride streak. I may try to get it in on Tuesday since the weather doesn't look too bad. I am going down to Lawrence for the holiday and it will be good to get some miles in down there. hopefully I will be able to join in The Chug on next Sunday.

Week #46 Got in #85 today

 

 

Week #46 - 577 miles

Today I got in ride #85 over 100+ miles for 2022. I need to get two more in and I will have 200 of them during the ride streak. Not something that I thought would be possible even at the start of the year. We have been pretty lucky with the weather so far this fall even though it did get cold this week. As long as the snow stays away, there should be a good chance of getting in a few more of them in. It would be cool to get to 100 but I don't think that will be possible.

Week #45 Rolled over 22,000 for the year

 

Week #45 - 600 miles

October - 2367 miles

I got in over 22,000 miles for the year this week and ended up with 2,367 miles for October. I have been lucky and the weather hasn't been real bad yet. The wind has come back so that has made things a little more difficult lately. I got in 3 rides this week of 100+ miles and need only 5 more to get to 200 during the ride streak. I should be able to get that in by the end of the year.
